Lead Pencil Studio’s Inversion: Plus Minus has intrigued me from the day I moved here. The formation evocative of an industrial structure under construction, but from the top down, etherially and lightly looms over the intersection of a busy bridge crossing here. It reminds of some the the great work I’ve been able to photograph in my prior city of residence, it’s exciting to see work which borders on the abstract and the figurative in such solid and steel terms. I’m going to attempt more images in the coming days. I think of Mondrian, but bolder, and now.
